What is Red Sea Global (RSG)?
Red Sea Global (RSG) is a pioneering developer with a global perspective, entirely owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF). RSG has spearheaded a new model of development, putting people and planet first. They harness cutting-edge ideas and technologies to create projects that actively improve the quality of life for customers, communities, and ecosystems.
RSG’s portfolio comprises three top-tier destinations, The Red Sea, Amaala and Thuwal. Together, these responsible and eco-friendly tourism spots strive to elevate Saudi Arabia’s offerings in terms of luxurious travel and sustainability. Their mission goes beyond just preserving the natural environment; they aim to improve it for the benefit of future generations.
What makes the Red Sea so special?
Located on the western coast of Saudi Arabia, this vast area covers 28,000 square kilometres and includes over 90 pristine islands, stunning beaches, and natural wonders like dormant volcanoes, sand dunes, and canyons. The Red Sea is also home to the world’s fourth-largest barrier reef, which teems with marine life and coral.
But the Red Sea is more than just a beautiful place to visit. It has a rich history with historical and cultural sites to explore. In 2023, it will welcome its first guests to experience everything it has to offer. When it’s finished in 2030, there will be 8,000 rooms in 50 hotels and 1,000 residential properties for people to stay in.
What is Amaala?
Amaala is an exceptional and lavish tourism destination that guides guests on life-changing wellness adventures. It possesses a distinctive heritage, beautiful natural surroundings, untouched ecosystems, and exceptional yachting experiences. The goal is to introduce the world to the incredible beauty of the Kingdom. Amaala doesn’t just aim to safeguard the environment in which it operates but also aims to actively renew it by showing respect for the environment in which it is constructed in and preserving the unique ecology of the Red Sea.
What is the Thuwal private retreat?
The Thuwal Private Retreat is the third destination in development by Red Sea Global and represents the company’s first exclusive ownership and operation. This unique island getaway, located in the pristine Red Sea waters along Saudi Arabia’s western coast, is accessible by invitation only and offers an unparalleled escape.
Thuwal Private Retreat is a very special and personalized place where every guest is treated with great respect. It’s located on a beautiful coral island that covers 1.7 hectares and combines old traditions with modern luxury.
